Controlling & Planning Specialist

Responsible for the day-to-day financial activities of the organization, including:

•Controlling its financial resources and ensuring that all financial transactions, systems, and procedures comply with regulations, accounting principles, and standards

•Financial analysis and reporting, taxation, insurance, credit control, accounts payable and receivable, inventory and cost control, and budgeting and forecasting

• Perform comprehensive Balance Sheet reviews and account reconciliations, analyzing movements, investigating open items and reconciling differences, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial information.
• Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals, reclassifications, corrections, and other recurring or ad hoc entries, ensuring appropriate supporting documentation and accounting treatment.
• Support month-end and quarter-end closing activities, ensuring timely and accurate completion of assigned accounting and controlling activities.
• Support with internal and external audit requirements, providing supporting documentation, account reconciliations, financial explanations, and timely resolution of audit requests.
• Analyze Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processes and balances, including aging, overdue items, payment and collection trends, and their impact on cash flow and working capital.
• Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including actuals, variance, and trend analysis, identifying key financial drivers and translating results into actionable insights.
• Prepare and present financial reports, dashboards, and management presentations that highlight key financial performance indicators, significant deviations, risks, and recommended actions.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting policies, internal controls, procedures, and financial reporting requirements.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. A master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CMA, ACCA, CPA) is a plus.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, controlling, or a similar finance role, preferably within a large multinational corporation.
• Strong understanding of financial accounting principles (IFRS/GAAP) and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial functions).
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and financial planning software (e.g., Hyperion, Anaplan) is highly desirable.
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
