RN Nurse Supervisor - Full-time - Lifelong Health - Newport News

Riverside's Lifelong Health and Rehabilitation Warwick Forest is currently hiring for a full-time and part-time RN Nurse Supervisor!

• →Assigns duties to professional and non-professional staff according to education, training, policy and resident need. Engages team members for optimal performance and addresses performance as needed to assure quality resident care is delivered.
• →Works with DON/Nurse Manager to keep labor expenses within budget.
• →Works with DON/Nurse Manager on on boarding, orientation and supervision of the nursing staff to ensure safe work practices.
• →Develops, implements and evaluates resident plans of care. Communicates plan of care to providers, residents, families and staff. Identifies changes in condition with proper documentation following the Interact process. Demonstrates consistent follow through for positive resident outcomes. Utilizes good judgment and specialized skills. Demonstrates the ability to manage a typical nursing unit.
• →Allows resident choices within limits of capability considering safety /dignity issues and follows policies and procedures of facility to include resident privacy and dignity.

• Bachelors Degree, Nursing (Preferred)

• Charge Nurse (Preferred)

• Registered Nurse (RN) - Virginia Department of Health Professions (VDHP) Upon Hire(Required)
• CPR/BLS Certification - American Heart Association/American Red Cross/American Safety and Health Institute (AHA/ARC) within 30 Days(Required)
