Network Security Engineer

• →Monitor, analyze, and triage vulnerability scan results; contribute findings to remediation plans and verify closure.
• →Assist senior engineers in performing network security risk assessments and document findings.
• →Administer and monitor host-based security solutions across the organization, including EDR, data loss prevention, software allowlisting, and configuration hardening policies.
• →Respond to security alerts, perform first-line triage, and assist in implementing preventative controls.
• →Enforce established computer and network security policies, procedures, and change-management processes.
• →Collaborate with engineering staff, management, and end-users to gather and document security requirements for new systems and infrastructure projects.
• →Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot firewalls and supporting network security infrastructure to ensure uptime and performance targets.
• →Support the design, testing, and deployment of security infrastructure changes in partnership with other engineers.
• →Maintain and update technical documentation, including incident reports, runbooks, asset inventories, and configuration baselines.
• →Take part in after-hours maintenance and incident response as needed

• High School Diploma or GED, (Required)
• Bachelors Degree, Computer Science/Information Systems or related field (Preferred)

• Call Rotation
• Comfortable working in a 24/7 operational environment that supports critical patient-care systems

• 3-4 years Hands-on experience with technical security solutions (e.g., firewalls, IPS/IDS, SIEM, endpoint protection, email security, MFA) (Required)
• 3-4 years Experience enforcing security policies, procedures, and controls to safeguard data and systems from cyber threats (Required)
• 2 years Working knowledge of TCP/IP networking, Windows Server, and Linux operating systems (Required)
• 1 year Experience with Azure and/or AWS cloud security (Preferred)
• Experience in a healthcare, hospital, or regulated-industry environment (Preferred)

• CompTIA Security+ - CompTIA within 180 Days (Required)
• Network (Plus) - CompTIA within 120 Days (Required)
• Microsoft Certified Azure Fundamentals - Microsoft (Preferred)
