Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - All Statuses, All Shifts - Newport News, VA

Warwick Forest Lifelong Health and Rehab is hiring LPNs, and are offering a $4,000 sign-on bonus for all part time and full time LPNs hired!

• →Medications and treatments are administered accurately and according to provider's orders.
• →Allows resident choices within limits of capability considering safety /dignity issues and follows policies and procedures of facility to include resident privacy and dignity.
• →Assigns duties to non-professional staff such as CNAs according to education, training, policy and resident need in order to assure quality resident care is delivered. Engages team members for optimal performance and addresses performance as needed.
• →Participates in administering medications, treatments, monitoring and observation of resident care. Identifies changes in condition with proper documentation according to standards of nursing practice. Demonstrates consistent follow through to promote positive resident outcomes. Utilizes good judgment and specialized skills.

• Less than 1 year Nursing experience (Preferred)

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Virginia Department of Health Professions (VDHP) Upon Hire(Required)
• CPR/BLS Certification - American Heart Association/American Red Cross/American Safety and Health Institute (AHA/ARC) within 30 Days(Required)
