Echocardiographer - as needed

• →Performs cardiac sonography examinations. Produces quality images following appropriate protocols and procedures. Provides and maintains clinical documentation per scope of practice.
• →Educates patients/families regarding the procedure and/or treatment to be performed. Positions the patient and completes the procedure.
• →Demonstrates commitment to safety and quality and prevents or reduces harms through knowledge and application of departmental policies, procedures, and resource documents.
• →Understands and adheres to all applicable regulatory and accrediting standards. Follows RHS policies and procedures. Reports variances.
• →Provides effective and efficient assessment, actions, and documentation.

• Program Graduate, Accredited Sonography Program (Preferred) or
• Associates Degree, Accredited Sonography Program (Preferred) or
• Bachelors Degree, Accredited Sonography Program (Preferred)

• 1 year Imaging experience (Preferred)

• CPR/BLS Certification - American Heart Association/American Red Cross/American Safety and Health Institute (AHA/ARC) (Required)
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer with an Adult Echocardiography specialty (RDCS-AE) - American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) Upon Hire(Required) or
• Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) - Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) Upon Hire(Required) and
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) certification in Pediatric Echocardiography (PE) - American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) Upon Hire(Preferred)
