CNA - Private Duty, Labor Pool

• →Provides personal care, comfort measures, environmental services, and specified treatments for a specified number of patients as determined by department standards. Follows the plan of care that assures patients receive consistent, competent, and ethical care, within legal standards of practice, while maintaining privacy and support for the patient’s value system. Provides care consistent with both verbal and/or written instructions. Demonstrates competent understanding of assigned plans of care within appropriate scope of practice and responsibilities as directed by the RN/LPN to include accurately completing all required documentation.
• →Demonstrates accountability for ensuring availability of resources (equipment, instruments, supplies) necessary to ensure positive patient outcomes. Maintains clean, safe and orderly work/patient environment by cleaning work stations/areas, equipment; stocking supplies; placing equipment in proper storage areas.
• →Demonstrates the ability to follow the plan of care that assures patients receive consistent, competent, and ethical care, within legal standards of practice, while maintaining privacy and support for the patient’s value system. Provides care consistent with both verbal and/or written instructions. Demonstrates competent understanding of assigned plans of care within appropriate scope of practice and responsibilities as directed by the RN/LPN to include accurately completing all required documentation.
• →Participates positively in training and support of all team members, volunteers and students as needed.

• Certified Nurse Aid (CNA) - Virginia Department of Health Professions (VDHP) Upon Hire(Required) and
• CPR/BLS Certification - American Heart Association/American Red Cross/American Safety and Health Institute (AHA/ARC) within 30 Days(Required)
• Drives personal vehicle for RHS business 25% or more of the time to perform essential functions of the job
• Valid Drivers License Required
