Resonetics Israel is seeking an experienced Production Planner who will own end-to-end production planning and control to support on-time, quality-compliant delivery. Translate customer demand and forecasts into feasible production plans, balancing material availability, labor and machine capacity, work-in-process, lead times and changing priorities. Proactively identify risks, resolve constraints and coordinate timely execution across functions.

The role works closely with local functions and requires a hands-on professional with strong ownership and execution.

Responsibilities

~2 min read
  • →Own production planning and control (PPC), including short- and longer-term schedules and factory production-resource planning.
  • →Translate customer orders, demand forecasts and required delivery dates into daily, weekly and monthly production plans; monitor on-time delivery (OTD).
  • →Build and maintain feasible capacity plans across production stages, considering available labor hours, machines, constraints, work centers and subcontractor lead times.
  • →Open, release, schedule, monitor and close manufacturing work orders; review progress, WIP, actual versus planned output, and schedule adherence.
  • →Run and interpret MRP in Priority ERP; identify material shortages, review planning parameters and recommend timely replenishment or purchase requisitions.
  • →Use Priority and relevant planning tools to update schedules and planning data, where applicable; maintain reliable ERP master and transactional data.
  • →Monitor inventory and raw-material issues before work-order closure; coordinate with warehouse and operations on discrepancies and availability.
  • →Investigate bottlenecks, idle time, overtime needs and deviations from plan; conduct root-cause analysis and propose practical recovery actions.
  • →Lead routine planning reviews with Production, Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering and other stakeholders; communicate trade-offs and escalation risks early.
  • →Maintain planning reports and KPIs including OTD, capacity utilization, production volumes, material shortages and labor-hour variances.
  • →Support continuous improvement in planning processes, MRP discipline, data quality and operational execution.
  • →Proactively coordinate recovery plans for delayed customer orders and backlogs, clearly communicating delivery risks, alternatives and follow-up actions.
  • →Coordinate planning impacts of quality holds, scrap, rework, engineering changes and new product introductions (NPI) with Quality, Engineering and Production.

Requirements

  • At least 3–5 years of substantive, hands-on production planning / PPC experience in a complex manufacturing environment; demonstrated ownership of schedules and work orders (not only data entry).
  • Industrial Engineering degree or practical-engineer qualification, or equivalent substantial planning experience.
  • Strong ERP/MRP experience, including production work orders, material planning and shortage analysis; experience with Priority ERP strongly preferred.
  • Advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, lookups, analysis and reporting); confident use of Office applications.
  • Demonstrated capacity planning, resource prioritization, analytical problem-solving and ability to work across multiple production stages.
  • Excellent Hebrew and strong working English, written and spoken.
  • Independent, precise, collaborative and resilient under changing priorities; able to influence stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Experience in medical-device, precision manufacturing or another regulated environment.
  • Practical experience with Priority MRP and PLANIT scheduling / capacity-planning tools.
  • Knowledge of quality holds, traceability, engineering changes, NPI and ISO 13485-related manufacturing controls.
  • Experience with external subcontractors, finite capacity planning, Lean or continuous improvement.
