Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital is seeking a skilled and dedicated Medical Laboratory Laboratory (MLT) to join our Clinical Laboratory team. This full-time day shift position offers an opportunity to work in a collaborative healthcare environment where laboratory professionals play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care.

As a Medical Laboratory Scientist, you will performs laboratory tests; interprets test results; documents and reports test results; maintains equipment, instruments, and tools.

• →Perform routine and complex laboratory testing procedures.
• →Analyze and interpret laboratory data and test results.
• →Accurately document and report test findings.
• →Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment and instrumentation.
• →Follow quality assurance, quality control, and safety protocols.
• →Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare professionals to support patient care.
• →Maintain compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.

• Associates degree
• Certificate

• ASCP or AMT certification
• ASCP or AMT certification eligible
