Full Time Nights:Three 12-hour shifts per week with every 3rd weekend rotation on Saturday and Sunday.

Part Time Nights: Two 12-hour shifts per week with every 3rd weekend rotation on Saturday and Sunday.

Sentara Martha Jeffersons Women’s Health includes L&D, and a 24 bed post-partum mother/baby. Our Level 2 newborn specialty care nursery has a 1 to 1 ratio while our intermediate care babies have a 1 to 3 nursing ratio. Our LDRP unit also offers post operative care for complex GYN and Breast surgical needs. This specialty area has a 100-member team cross trained to offer best in class healthcare to Charlottesville, VA, and surrounding areas. The schedule is primarily 12-hour shifts with rotating weekends and holiday requirements. • Our RN retention rate is 98%

• We boast an NTSV CS rate of 18%, the lowest in the Sentara system

• Degree or diploma in Registered Nursing

• BSN or MSN Preferred

• Women's Care - Perinatal departments; NRP within 6 months of hire.

• BLS within 90 days of hire

• Registered nursing license required

• EFM- Electronic Fetal monitoring preferred

• Certified Obstetrics Nursing preferred

• 2 years of acute care registered nurse experience in Women's health preferred

• Experience in charge roles preferred

• Labor and Delivery specific Experience preferred

• Strong understanding of patient safety protocols.

• Manages complex cases in fast-paced environments

• Communication with patients and providers

• Must want to work night shift
