Speech Language Pathologist

• Maintain certification in the Lee Silverman Voice Treatment Protocol

• Interpret instrumental and non-instrumental assessment of swallowing, including determining safety

• Other job duties as required

• Endurance (e.g. continuous typing, prolonged standing/bending, walking)

• Dexterity of hands and fingers

• Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree preferred

• 2-4 years required.  5+ years preferred

• Head and Neck Cancer experience preferred

• Certification of Clinical Competence from the American Speech, Hearing and Language Association required. State license in Speech-Language Pathology.

• Experience conducting videostroboscopy

• Strong knowledge of Fiber optic Endoscopic Examination of Swallowing (FEES) required

• Ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing required

• Strong interpersonal, problem solving and critical thinking skills required

• Experience with Standard Office Equipment (Phone, Fax, Copy Machine, Scanner, Email/Voice Mail)

• Experience with Standard Office Technology in a Window based environment preferred
