Senior Process Associate ITP

The Senior Process Associate will be responsible for the delivery of effective and efficient finance transactional processes and controls from a GBS centre as described in the S&N Finance Accounts Payable (AP) taxonomy and in line with the Group Finance Manual, Minimum Acceptable Practices (MAPs) and Sarbanes Oxley requirements. 

• Prepares proposals for payment runs, wire transfers, and EFT/ACH transactions to ensure accurate and timely supplier payments, remittances and bank clearing.
• Understand policies and adapt. Ability to converse with stakeholders in Various countries across the globe.
• Assists with month end close data preparation including calculation of accurate accruals where required to ensure all deadlines are achieved.
• Contributes to the improvement of the end-to-end process including:
• Maximizing on time payment, DPO, booking and payment accuracy
• Minimize duplicate and overpayments, minimize un-utilized credits, reliance on local finance and business teams.
• Drives process standardization and flags exceptions for review and approval.
• Proactively identifies areas of opportunity to streamline processes and improve customer service.
• AP Subledger reconciliation, aged item analysis, action plans, SOP creation / Update etc.

• Education: B.Com / M.Com / MBA.
• Minimum 4 to 5 Years of AP full cycle AP processing, basic accounting principles.
• Strong attention to detail focusing on quality and accuracy along with having an analytical mind set.
• Ability to prioritize while working in a fast-paced environment with commitment to deliverables.
• Team player with ability to build relationships and influence team members and wider stakeholders with proven problem-solving skills.
• Excellent English communications skills written and verbal.
• Self-starter with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to work month end schedules and different shifts.
• SAP, Microsoft AX and Ariba experience preferred.
• Continuous improvement experience / Lean methodologies experience preferred.
• Proficiency in MS office suite.
• Flexible in any shift timing which is defined in S+N
