  • Support Child Development: Observe, assess, and document children's developmental progress, identifying opportunities to support individual learning needs and milestones.
  • Maintain a Safe Environment: Ensure classroom spaces are clean, organized, engaging, and compliant with all applicable health, safety, and state licensing regulations.
  • Collaborate With Your Team: Work alongside fellow educators, school leadership, and support staff to provide consistent, high-quality early childhood education.
  • Encourage Positive Behavior: Use positive guidance strategies to support social skills, independence, emotional regulation, and problem-solving.
  • Partner With Families: Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers about classroom activities, developmental milestones, and their child's daily experiences.
  •

We believe exceptional preschool teachers bring a combination of education, patience, creativity, and genuine enthusiasm for helping children succeed.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to create engaging, developmentally appropriate classroom activities.
  • A collaborative mindset and willingness to contribute to a positive school community.
  • An understanding of child development, positive classroom management, and early learning practices.

  • EEC Preschool Teacher Certification is required.
  • Early childhood education coursework, a degree in Early Childhood Education, or a related field is preferred.
  • Previous experience working in a preschool, daycare, childcare center, or early learning environment is required.
  • Ability to work a full time schedule within operating hours of 7:30 am to 5:00 pm, with availability to close.
  •

We know that caring for children is important work, and the people who do it deserve to feel valued, supported, and appreciated.
