The Project Accountant supports day-to-day project accounting operations, cross-system software integrations, and workflow efficiency initiatives within the finance department.

  Manage project accounting workflows and assist with software transitions in Acumatica.

  Collaborate with the Director of Finance and project accounting staff on daily financial operations.

  Liaise directly with local trade contractors for billing follow-ups, payment confirmations, and invoice clarifications.

  Prepare accurate project financial reports and maintain compliance with accounting standards.

• →

  Implement and test AI-driven tools to automate and streamline routine accounting tasks.

  Help design and document standard operating procedures for new accounting processes.

• Demonstrated accounting experience with a strong emphasis on project accounting principles.

• Foundational knowledge of construction billing workflows and documentation.

• Native or professional-level English proficiency (written and verbal) for clear external stakeholder communication.

• Strong technological aptitude and eagerness to integrate modern AI tools into daily workflows.

• Hands-on experience with Acumatica and Procore.

• Prior accounting background within the construction or contracting sectors.

• On-time delivery and accuracy of monthly/quarterly project financial reports.

• Reduction of billing discrepancies and speed of invoice reconciliation with trade partners.

• Measurable efficiency gains through adoption of new workflows and software tools.
