Requirements
~1 min read- 3–15 years of overall technical experience.
- Minimum 4 years of software development experience.
- At least 4 years of hands-on experience in TPF and z/TPF development.
- Strong expertise in z/TPF, Assembler, TPFC, TPFDF, and SPMs.
- Proven experience with software development and CI tools.
- Strong understanding of mainframe and TPF environments.
- Hands-on experience in application design, coding, debugging, and testing.
- Experience troubleshooting issues in test and production environments.
- Ability to understand business requirements and convert them into technical specifications.
- Strong technical documentation and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Experience supporting production releases, implementations, and ongoing application maintenance.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Design, develop, code, debug, and test applications using TPF, z/TPF, Assembler, TPFC, and TPFDF.
- →Develop and maintain software solutions within mainframe and TPF environments.
- →Work with SPMs and relevant development tools to support application development and maintenance.
- →Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across testing and production environments.
- →Analyse business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
- →Prepare and maintain technical documentation related to software development and application functionality.
- →Collaborate with cross-functional development teams to deliver reliable and efficient software solutions.
- →Support production implementations, including on-call responsibilities and post-implementation warranty support.
- →Identify opportunities to improve application stability, performance, and overall system reliability.
- →Assist the Technical Product Manager with release planning and requirement preparation.
- →Contribute to development processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
