Join a growing team of Virtual Tax Specialists who help clients complete their individual tax returns through a convenient virtual experience. You will prepare accurate tax returns, communicate with clients throughout the process, and provide clear, helpful guidance based on each client's situation.

You will combine tax knowledge, client service, and technology to create a smooth and dependable experience for clients who begin their tax journey online.

Requirements

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent
Successful completion of required tax knowledge assessments, certifications, and continuing education.
Working knowledge of individual federal and state tax concepts.

Work Experience:

Internet speed of at least 15 Mbps
1 - 3 years of tax preparartion experience
Ability to learn and work effectively with virtual platforms, tax software, and evolving technology.
Ability to review information, identify inconsistencies, and prepare accurate returns.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to explain tax information in language clients can understand.
Good organizational and time management skills.

Experience providing customer service through telephone, video, chat, or secure messaging.
Experience working in a fast-paced or production-based environment.
Familiarity with virtual tax preparation tools.
Experience using artificial intelligence or other digital productivity tools.

The pay range for this position is listed below. Local minimum wage laws apply. Individual pay decisions will depend on job-related factors such as experience, education, skill, performance, and geographic location where work will be performed. Successful candidates may be able to participate in one or more incentive compensation or short-term incentive plans, which could generate additional earnings in accordance with the terms of each plan.
