mtheory provides artist managers and artists with services, support, and capabilities across a wide range of disciplines, including marketing, touring, live event production, financing, digital services, and label services. Some of our manager clients include The Gray Slate (Blackberry Smoke), Amanda Quinton (Ashley Monroe, Tenille Townes, Fancy Hagood) and artists including Jo Dee Messina, Underoath, Em Beihold and many more. Based in New York and Nashville, mtheory offers artist managers a platform to build their businesses and enhance their artists’ careers.

• →Supporting mtheory’s marketing associates, and client managers with day-to-day needs
• →Create and edit content for our roster of artists
• →Heavy focus on graphic design and creation
• →General branding exercises for mtheory clients
• →Attend and participate in meetings and brainstorming sessions
• →Conduct vital artist research, including social network analysis, music platform analysis, touring history analysis, and online properties analysis
• →Participate in marketing meetings, mapping out artists' creative and social media campaigns

• Passionate about music of all genres
• Proficient in graphic design, especially Adobe Photoshop, plus basic familiarity with video editing (e.g. CapCut or similar software) and design tools like Canva
• High energy, positive attitude, enthusiasm and a desire to learn
• A self-starter who can take direction but work independently
• Familiarity with investigative analysis and brainstorming content ideas
• Previous internship experience in the industry is beneficial

• Internship is part-time; college credit is available, but not required
• Internship is paid at the minimum wage of the state in which the office the intern is working in
• Access to a computer and reliable internet connection is required for this position
