A Better Solution in Home Care is growing our caregiving team! Our Stanwood office serves clients throughout Camano Island, Stanwood, Warm Beach, Arlington, Marysville, and surrounding communities, and we’re looking for compassionate HCA and CNA caregivers to join us.

We know every caregiver’s schedule is different. Maybe you’re looking for consistent hours, a few extra shifts each week, or short visits that fit around another job or family responsibilities. Tell us when and where you’re available, and we’ll work to find a client that’s a great fit for you.

A Variety of Shifts

Our client needs vary, which means we have opportunities for caregivers with different schedules and availability, including:

Short visits and supplemental hours
30-minute visits
4-hour shifts
8-hour shifts
Morning, afternoon, and evening opportunities
Weekday and weekend availability
Opportunities to pick up additional hours

What You’ll Do

Depending on your client’s individual care plan, responsibilities may include:

Personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene
Companionship and meaningful interaction
Meal preparation and mealtime assistance
Mobility, transfers, and ambulation support
Medication reminders
Light housekeeping and laundry
Errands and household assistance
Observing and reporting changes in a client’s needs
Completing required shift documentation
Helping clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent at home

What We’re Looking For

Washington State HCA or CNA certification, or currently working toward certification as permitted by Washington State requirements
Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
Dependable and compassionate caregivers
Strong communication skills
Ability to meet Washington State background and employment requirements
CPR/First Aid certification is a plus
Previous caregiving experience is helpful, but we encourage qualified caregivers at different experience levels to apply
