Requirements

At least 2 years of experience in structural steel fabrication.
Previous quality inspection, quality control, or manufacturing experience.
Working knowledge of AWS D1.1, AWS D1.5, and AISC standards.
Ability to read and understand fabrication drawings and technical specifications.
Experience using inspection tools, including:
- Fillet weld gauges
- V-WAC gauges
- Squares
- Tape measures
- Other standard quality inspection equipment
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality and workplace safety.

Current Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification.
Experience with nondestructive testing (NDT), including:
- Ultrasonic Testing (UT)
- Magnetic Particle Testing (MT)
- Penetrant Testing (PT)
- Additional certifications in structural steel fabrication, bolting, coatings, or welding inspection.
- Previous experience in a steel manufacturing or fabrication facility.

Primarily works on the manufacturing floor with limited office duties.
Active structural steel fabrication environment.
Facility is not climate-controlled, with exposure to varying temperatures.
Requires extended periods of standing, walking, and inspecting materials throughout the shift.
