Here at Humanoid, we believe in a future where robots amplify human potential. That’s why we’ve set out on a mission to build the world’s most capable, commercially-scalable, and safe humanoid robots. We’re bringing that mission to life with HMND‑01 - our rapidly developed humanoid platform being deployed in real industrial environments - and we’re growing the team to take it even further.
Location: Vancouver, Canada
Employment Type: Full-Time, 6-Month Fixed-Term Contract
Work Arrangement: On-Site
About the Role
~1 min readWe are looking for a Robotics Prototype Engineer to join our Vancouver team on a 6-month, full-time fixed-term contract, supporting the assembly, integration, testing, and validation of advanced humanoid robotic systems.
You will work hands-on with robotic hands, arms, end-effectors, actuators, sensors, and complex electromechanical assemblies, helping bring new robotic designs from engineering concepts to functional prototypes.
Working closely with our Mechanical, Electrical, Embedded Software, and Controls teams, you will support prototype builds, troubleshoot hardware issues, perform calibration, and contribute to continuous design improvements.
This opportunity is ideal for an early-career or intermediate engineer who enjoys practical engineering challenges, wants to strengthen their robotics expertise, and is excited to learn from a highly experienced multidisciplinary engineering team.
Work hands-on with advanced humanoid robotic hardware, including dexterous hands, arms, actuators, and precision mechanisms.
Gain practical experience in robotic assembly, sensor integration, calibration, and hardware troubleshooting.
Collaborate with experienced robotics engineers across mechanical, electrical, embedded software, and controls disciplines.
Contribute directly to prototype development, testing, and continuous design improvements.
Build valuable experience in a fast-moving robotics R&D environment, working on real humanoid robots.
