As a Security Officer supporting a government airport location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service to travelers, visitors, and staff. Requirements: 

• Valid Driver's License (+1 years)
• 18+ years of age

• Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently

• Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening
• Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office

• →Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, employees, and other stakeholders by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at an airport location.
• →Monitor access points, terminal areas, and restricted locations in accordance with applicable procedures; verify credentials and direct individuals to appropriate resources when needed.
• →Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate airport personnel and emergency responders as required.
• →Conduct regular and random patrols throughout airport facilities, parking areas, perimeter locations, and other assigned areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• →Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required logs related to patrols, incidents, access control, and unusual observations.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
