As an Airport Security Officer: Full-Time (Tuesday-Saturday) in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Security Officer supporting a government airport location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and assist visitors with professionalism and clear communication. Requirements: 

 

 

• Valid Driver's License (+1 years)
• 18+ years of age

• Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently

• Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening
• Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office

 

• →Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, employees, and/or agency personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an airport location.
• →Monitor access points, restricted areas, and public-facing areas in accordance with applicable site procedures; verify credentials and report unauthorized access concerns.
• →Respond to incidents, alarms, medical events, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating observations to appropriate airport personnel and emergency responders.
• →Conduct regular and random patrols of terminals, parking areas, perimeter locations, and other assigned areas; identify and report security-related concerns, hazards, and unusual activity.
• →Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation while following site-specific reporting procedures.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
