Patient Care Aide -Cardiac 4 East-Crestwood Medical Center-FT-1st shift

The Patient Care Assistant assists the unit in patient care duties such as cleaning/bathing patients, positioning, re-positioning and transporting patients, stocking shelves, cleaning equipment and assisting with dietary tasks. Education: A high school diploma or GED. Certified Nursing Assistant training preferred

Experience:   Previous receptionist / hospital unit secretarial experience preferred

Licenses/Certificates: CNA Certification preferred. Current BLS certification required or within 30 days of hire (Certification must be current prior to being release from Orientation status and providing independant patient care without an assigned preceptor).

Certificate of Completion of a formal  program  that meets regulatory standards in Conflict resolution, de-escalation and  teaches physical intervention techniques.  Must have on hire or obtained within 90 days of hire (I.e. MOAB, CPI or equivalent)
