Sterile Processing Technician-Ambulatory Surgery Center - Part-time

$19.50 - $28.28Performs a variety of sterile processing functions. Assures proper decontamination, quality assurance, sterilization of equipment and distribution of sterile surgical instrumentation to areas throughout the affiliate and outside service contracts to ensure quality patient care and safety. Identifies and remedies equipment failures and hazards posing potential risks to patients.

o Schedule: Part-time/Day Shift, 24 Hours/Week, 8-10 hours Shifts, 0645 SPD (vary 0645 and 0800), Wednesday/Friday

Education Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is preferred.

Experience Qualifications

• 1 year of sterile processing experience is preferred. Knowledge of nursing procedures, aseptic technique, medical terminology, and infection control is preferred.

Certifications, Licenses and Registrations

• WI-Certified and Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) is preferred.
• IL-Certified and Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) is required within 18 months of employment.
