Veterinarian - Interlachen, FL

Shelton Veterinary Clinic is seeking an experienced, compassionate veterinarian to join us as an associate or as Chief of Staff to lead our team and continue providing exceptional care to our loyal community! This is an exciting opportunity for a veterinarian who enjoys practicing high-quality medicine, building lasting client relationships, and providing strong clinical leadership in a supportive, established practice. We are happy to bring someone aboard our team as an associate, with the potential to move into a leadership position once they are ready to take the next step in their career. 

Located in scenic Interlachen, Florida, Shelton Veterinary Clinic is a thriving small animal practice with a loyal clientele who value personalized care and meaningful relationships with their veterinary team. We take the time to educate clients, discuss treatment options, and help them make informed decisions about their pets’ health. 

Our recently updated, stand-alone facility features: 

• Four fully equipped exam rooms 

• Well-equipped surgical suite and dedicated treatment area 

• Digital general and dental radiography 

• In-house laboratory equipment and IDEXX reference laboratory services 

• CryoPen for cryosurgery procedures 

• On-site pharmacy and dedicated isolation room 

• Doctor’s office, lounge, and small boarding area 

• Paper-lite practice management 

Our caseload is approximately 95% dogs and cats, with 5% exotics and poultry, offering variety in a primarily small animal setting. 

We’re looking for a veterinarian who is passionate about both medicine and leadership. As Chief of Staff, you will help guide the medical team, support the development of a positive team culture, and ensure our patients and clients continue receiving the personalized care they expect.

• →Help maintain strong medical standards and consistent clinical practices. 

• →Foster a collaborative, respectful environment where team members can thrive. 

• →Build on established client relationships through clear communication, education, and thoughtful treatment recommendations. 

• →Encourage appropriate advanced diagnostics and treatment, working with our trusted referral partners when needed. 

• →Support efficient hospital operations while balancing patient care, team needs, and client experience.
