Research Associate (Psychology and Child & Human Development Department) [NIE]

The National Institute of Education invites suitable applications for the position of Research Associate on a 12-month contract at the Psychology and Child & Human Development (PCHD) Department.

• A Master’s degree from a reputable institution specialising in psychology or a related field.

• Good knowledge of child development theories and research.

• Prior experience with working with parents and children is highly preferred.

• Strong communication and organizational skills; being able to be an effective liaison person for contacting families and preschools, and to lead and train a team of student assistants in fieldwork and data collection.

• →Carry out participant recruitment for the project.

• →Manage the data collection schedule for the research team.

• →Participate in the training of student research assistants.

• →Carry out fieldwork, data coding, and analysis.

• →Participate in manuscript preparation and dissemination of study findings.

• →Other responsibilities related to project management.
