Security Officer - Industrial Site

As a Security Officer - Industrial Site in Gresham, OR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an unarmed Security Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while working with a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, and committed to acting with integrity.

• →Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and contractors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at an industrial location.
• →Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, maintain entry records, and direct deliveries to designated receiving areas.
• →Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• →Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services when needed.
• →Prepare clear reports and communicate observations, incidents, and security-related concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
