Ngā kōrero mō tēnei tūranga / About the role

Our People & Culture team helps build the people and capability behind PwC New Zealand. As an Early Careers Advisor, you’ll help attract and select graduates, interns and scholarship recipients—building a strong pipeline of future talent and creating a positive experience for candidates and colleagues.

Working with the Early Careers Manager, Talent Acquisition Senior Manager and hiring managers, you’ll help design and deliver early careers campaigns and promote PwC as an employer of choice.

Your day-to-day could include

  • Supporting graduate, internship and scholarship recruitment campaigns.
  • Sourcing and engaging candidates through university partnerships, online platforms, careers events and networking.
  • Reviewing CVs and applications, coordinating interviews, and partnering with the business to secure early careers talent.
  • Managing the end-to-end Scholarship programme and responding to candidate and colleague queries.
  • Helping define talent requirements and develop campaign strategies with hiring managers and the Early Careers Manager.
  • Using Workday and other tools to manage candidates through recruitment and onboarding.
  • Coordinating events, representing PwC on campus, and building relationships with universities, associations, clubs and recruitment partners.
  • Working with People & Culture colleagues to support a seamless onboarding experience.

Ngā pūkenga ka kawea mai e koe, ka whakawhanakehia rānei i tēnei tūranga / Skills you will bring or develop

  • 1–2 years’ relevant experience in student careers, recruitment, human resources or a related field.
  • A driven, motivated and customer-focused approach, with a determination to achieve results and identify talent.
  • Confidence speaking to groups and representing PwC as an employer of choice.
  • Commercial awareness and the ability to explain our business areas and employee value proposition.
  • Strong organisation, attention to detail, and written and verbal communication skills.
  • Confidence using technology and working with data.

It would also be great if you have:

  • A degree in Commerce, Business or another relevant field.
  • Knowledge of recruitment best practice and experience with an applicant tracking system such as Workday.
