As a Disability Benefits Examiner, you will investigate and evaluate disability claims to determine eligibility for benefits under policy provisions. You’ll gather and analyze medical, occupational, and financial information, make claim decisions, manage claims through resolution, and ensure accurate benefit payments. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a customer-focused approach to delivering timely, accurate, and empathetic service to claimants, policyholders, and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities

→Review and evaluate medical, occupational, and policy information to determine eligibility for disability benefits.
→Obtain and analyze documentation needed to make timely claim decisions and resolve discrepancies.
→Develop and execute claim management strategies that support effective claim resolution and liability management.
→Provide clear, accurate, and responsive communication to claimants, policyholders, and other stakeholders.
→Ensure accurate benefit payments by identifying deductible income and maintaining claim system data.
