Animal Management Technician

37 hours per week  | Fixed Term Contract until July 2027

Care for the animals. Support the students. Help create the next generation of animal care professionals.

At Wigan & Leigh College, every day brings opportunities to make a real difference. Working alongside our Animal Management team, you'll help ensure outstanding care for our animals while creating the practical learning experiences that inspire and prepare our students for careers within the animal care industry.

This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same. From maintaining high standards of animal welfare and preparing specialist facilities to supporting practical sessions and helping students develop industry skills, you'll be an important part of our learners' journey. Our Animal Management provision is growing, and we're looking for someone who has a drive for excellence, professionalism and animal welfare.
