Location: Pune

As a Project Planner, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and monitoring detailed project schedules for complex initiatives, ensuring deliverables are met on time and within budget. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to translate project requirements into actionable tasks, applying your expertise in Microsoft Project and Primavera P6 to create dynamic timelines and resource plans. Your analytical skills will be crucial for conducting variance analysis, identifying deviations, and implementing corrective actions, while your proficiency in Microsoft Excel will enable advanced data modeling and reporting. You will also employ work breakdown structure techniques and apply crashing methodologies to optimize schedules and respond swiftly to changing project demands. Ultimately, you will serve as the critical link between project vision and execution, ensuring that all stakeholders remain informed and aligned throughout the project lifecycle.

𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Microsoft Project and Primavera P6.

• Create and refine work breakdown structures (WBS) to define clear deliverables.

• Perform variance analysis to track schedule performance and forecast impacts.

• Apply crashing techniques to accelerate project timelines while balancing cost and resource constraints.

• Integrate project plans with resource allocation and capacity planning tools.

• Generate and present comprehensive status reports to senior management and stakeholders.

• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams to align schedules with project milestones.

• Update schedules dynamically in response to scope changes, risks, and resource availability.

• Conduct regular reviews of critical path activities and recommend mitigation strategies.

• Ensure adherence to project governance standards and deliverables documentation.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗠𝗮𝗸𝗲𝘀 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗮 𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝗙𝗶𝘁

• 1+ years of experience in project planning and scheduling, preferably in large-scale infrastructure projects.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, and advanced functions of Microsoft Excel.

• Strong understanding of work breakdown structure development and application.

• Demonstrated ability to perform variance analysis and produce actionable insights.

• Experience implementing crashing strategies to meet tight deadlines.

• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.

• Effective communication and presentation abilities for cross‑functional collaboration.

• Familiarity with industry project management standards (PMI, PRINCE2).

• Ability to work independently while managing multiple concurrent projects.

• Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, and adaptable to evolving project requirements.
