Business Alliance Manager

Good Faith Pay Range: In accordance with Virginia law, the good-faith pay range for this position is $90,000-$120,000 per year. Actual compensation will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications, education, experience, skills, and other legitimate business factors.  

This position will work at ECPI University’s Manassas, VA campus location.

Position Summary

The Business Alliance Manager is responsible for developing and executing partnerships with organizations for employee education, training, or assessment. In addition, these partnerships could include helping link organizations to prospective employees from recent ECPI University graduates, to participate in Advisory Board, to host clinical and/or extern students, provide guest lecturers, and other means of collaborating with the University.

Primary Responsibilities

• Develop and execute partnerships- actively participate in the strategy and development of the Enterprise Partnership process.
• Build and maintain an effective and comprehensive prospecting portfolio.
• Meet or exceed goals in identifying new contacts, partnerships and program enrollment activity.
• Work with Admissions, Career Services, Continuing Education, Financial Aid and Marketing teams to optimize contributions by actively considering their interest in the partnership process.
• Proposal development for workforce training opportunities, including manufacturers.
• Travel within a reasonable radius of home campus and to prospective partners and events.
• Project management on workforce training projects and events.
• Actively participate in community and corporate networking events and meetings.
• Plan and track activities using CRM platform.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Experience

• At least four (4) years minimum in a successful sales and relationship building position.
•  Proven track record in business-to-business networking and development.

Education

• BA/BS degree in Business or a related field.

Skills and Abilities

• Ability to initiate and develop professional relationships.
• Motivated, self-starter with excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to work independently
• Collaborate with UP team and management as well as across departmental and campus lines.
• Proven business acumen and ability to synthesize new business opportunities.
• Project Management

The employee is required to professionally communicate in person, over the telephone, meet virtually,  and through email; move about the school and offices; handle various types of media and equipment; and visually observe and assess. enter data.  They should also be able to physically assist with packing and carrying event items, collateral, and other equipment for events
