Carpenter

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Carpenters for projects located in or around Dayton, OH.  This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is up to $30/hour based on experience and skill level.  If you are a Carpenter and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career! 

• Perform commercial carpentry work on new construction projects
• Read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and specifications
• Install metal studs, framing, blocking, backing, and structural supports
• Install doors, frames, hardware, trim, and other building components
• Measure, cut, assemble, and install construction materials
• Safely operate hand tools and power tools
• Work alongside other trades and follow direction from supervisors and project managers
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Follow all jobsite safety procedures and OSHA requirements

• Minimum of 3+ years of commercial carpentry experience
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
• Must have basic carpentry hand tools required for the trade
• Must provide and wear required PPE, including:
  • Hard Hat
  • Safety Glasses
  • Work Gloves
  • High-Visibility Vest
  • Appropriate Work Boots
• Must be reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently or as part of a team
