Accounts Payable Specialist

This position can be fully remote or based at our headquarters in Stamford, CT. 

• →Process vendor invoices, including appropriate GL coding and approvals, and maintain vendor records.
• →Reconcile vendor statements and research and resolve discrepancies.
• →Review W-9s and assist with new vendor setup.
• →Process and review employee expense reports for accuracy and policy compliance.
• →Respond to vendor and internal inquiries and work collaboratively to resolve issues.
• →Assist with audit requests, reporting, and ad hoc analysis.
• →Communicate proactively with commercial teams to identify and resolve discrepancies.

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field preferred but not required.
• Prior accounts payable or related accounting experience preferred, but not required.
• Foundational understanding of accounting principles, including double-entry accounting and accrual versus cash accounting.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills and good judgment when handling confidential information.
• Working knowledge of Excel, including formulas, lookups, and pivot tables.
• Familiarity with Advantage, QuickBooks and/or Sage is a plus.
• A proactive, collaborative approach and a commitment to accurate, reliable work.
