Transcend is currently seeking a Director of Accounting to join our extraordinary team. In this role, you will direct our accounting operations and oversee the team, driving organizational compliance with US GAAP standards, internal governance, and financial audits. Positioned with exceptional organizational visibility, you will deliver critical reporting to leadership while partnering closely with leaders across all operational functions.

This is a remote, exempt, full time position based in the United States. The successful candidate must have valid work authorization, as visa sponsorship is not available. Pacific Standard Time (PST) working hours are preferred. This role reports directly to the Vice President of Finance.

Responsibilities

→Scale reporting infrastructure and drive continuous improvements to existing systems to increase efficiencies, automate processes, and improve reporting timelines.
→Manage end-of-period closes, audit preparation, treasury operations, and tax compliance.
→Establish documented controls to maintain the integrity of financial reporting and corporate accounting principles in compliance with US GAAP.
→Coordinate with external auditors to support annual audit procedures.

Requirements

10+ years of experience in Accounting
Strong working knowledge of SaaS and ASC606
