Help companies secure and successfully implement EU and national funding. We support start-ups, SMEs, and corporates in scaling innovation projects across green tech, AI, circular economy, digital transformation, and other innovative sectors.
You'll work alongside founders, international partners, and experienced consulting professionals, helping innovative businesses turn ambitious ideas into reality.
Civitta is looking for experienced freelance professionals specialising in EU funding proposal writing and/or EU-funded project implementation and management.
We are building a network of independent experts to support our Funding team in developing competitive funding applications, coordinating projects, and managing the administrative and reporting requirements of EU-funded projects.
Requirements
~1 min readExperience working with international consortia and coordinating multiple partners.
Experience across the full EU funding project lifecycle, from proposal development to implementation and reporting.
Experience supporting companies, research institutions, or universities in EU-funded projects.
Knowledge of EU funding compliance requirements, financial management, or project audits.
Experience with multiple EU funding programmes.
Our primary focus is on DEP, LIFE, CEF, EIC, Eurostars, Horizon Europe, Innovation Fund, EDF, and EDIP. Experience with Creative Europe or CERV may also be considered.
Please note that our current needs do not focus on local or cohesion-policy funding programmes. Experience limited to Interreg or Erasmus+ is not sufficient for our current needs.

The scope of work, expected time commitment, and remuneration will be agreed individually, depending on the assignment and your expertise.
