Healthcare United is seeking a BE/BC Internal Medicine Physician for a full-time opportunity in the Wethersfield Area, Connecticut. Practice outpatient Internal Medicine while helping residents develop clinical judgment and continuity-of-care skills. Overview Specialty: Internal Medicine Location: Wethersfield Area, Connecticut Practice Setting: Outpatient academic practice with periodic inpatient coverage Work Schedule: Eight clinic half-days weekly plus academic time; approximately five inpatient weekends per year. Call / Coverage: Infrequent call Support Staff / Resources: Approximately two to three clinical support staff per physician; Behavioral Health, nurse care management, and Social Work EMR: Epic, Dragon, secure messaging, and patient portal What You Can Expect Provide eight half-days of clinic weekly with additional protected academic time. Contribute to curriculum, quality improvement, population health, and scholarly activity. Provide inpatient coverage on approximately five weekends annually; this hospital rotation is separate from infrequent call.
