Hospitalist Needed in Fairfield County, CT | Academic Teaching & Closed ICU

Healthcare United is seeking a Board-Certified Hospitalist for a full-time opportunity in the Trumbull Area, Connecticut. Build an Academic Hospital Medicine practice with resident supervision, access to specialty services, and opportunities for faculty involvement. Overview Specialty: Hospitalist Board Certification: Board Certified in Internal Medicine Location: Trumbull Area, Connecticut Practice Setting: Academic teaching hospital Work Schedule: Approximately 17–19 shifts per month on a non-block schedule. Patient / Case Volume: Average 14–16 patients per shift, with a reported cap of approximately 18–20 patients Support Staff / Resources: Case management, nursing, subspecialists, and 24/7 Intensivists Compensation: Competitive base salary with productivity incentives New Grads/Practicing: New graduates welcome to apply. What You Can Expect Manage inpatient care and Rapid Response events. Intensivists lead codes and ICU care. The ICU is closed with around-the-clock Intensivist coverage. Participate in resident education, quality improvement, curriculum work, and scholarly activity; a faculty appointment may be available.
