Registered Nurse RN - Vascular Access, PRN I, Days

• The vascular access department supports all adult inpatient and outpatient units by placing PICC lines, midlines and assisting with ultrasound guided PIVs. We provide trouble shooting for vascular access complications and play a pivotal role in CLABSI reduction by managing central line dressings and collection of blood cultures on all patients with central lines.

• Unit Based Council (UBC) and engaged leadership team

• Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred
• Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing upon hire
• BCLS – prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required
• 1-year experience as a registered nurse or completion of an RN residency program required
• Vascular Access experience preferred 
• VA-BC or CRNI– Certification preferred.
