You will own the construction and delivery side of several store openings at once, working remotely with our in-house store designers, our onboarding team, U.S. general contractors, landlords, and fixture/signage vendors. Your job is to get each store built on time and on budget, and to raise problems early enough that we can still fix them.
Responsibilities

- →Bid and manage general contractors: collect quotes, compare scope, track change orders, and confirm work against the approved design
- →Coordinate landlord and mall requirements: tenant information packages, sign reviews, certificates of insurance, construction deposits, work-hour and loading-dock rules, and site inspections
- →Track permits and inspections (building, fire, certificate of occupancy) and close out any items an inspector adds
- →Manage procurement and deliveries: fixtures, millwork, fitting rooms, signage, pre-opening window vinyl, and furniture, including lead times, tracking numbers, and who will receive each delivery on site
- →Own the budget for each store: keep a line-item budget current against real quotes and invoices, flag overruns before they happen, and be ready to walk a brand partner through every line
- →Process vendor invoices through our AP system (Ramp) and make sure nothing is paid twice, for example a deposit paid by card and then the full invoice paid again through AP
- →Post weekly status updates in Asana and Slack: turnover date, opening date, risks, and what you need from the team
- →Lead calls with contractors, landlords, and vendors in English; push back on unrealistic timelines and escalate early when something will slip (for example water damage found on site, or a new requirement from an inspector)
- 4+ years of construction or project management experience on U.S. commercial interiors; retail fit-outs, mall work, or millwork strongly preferred
Has managed several projects at once against hard deadlines
- Comfortable reading construction drawings and spotting scope gaps between design and contractor quotes
- Strong spoken and written English; confident running calls and holding vendors accountable
- Organized and proactive: tracks every open item to closure without being chased
- Familiar with U.S. permitting, landlord approvals, and change order processes
- Tools: Google Workspace, Slack, Asana (or similar), Bluebeam or another PDF markup tool; SketchUp viewing is a plus
