The Field Service Technician will play a key role in maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing advanced autonomous mobile robot (AMR) systems deployed at customer sites. This position combines hands-on hardware expertise with technical troubleshooting and customer support to ensure reliable system performance and minimize operational downtime. You will work closely with customers, partners, and internal engineering, production, and operations teams to resolve technical challenges and improve system reliability. The role involves performing on-site maintenance, conducting system audits, implementing hardware upgrades, and supporting product recalls. You will also deliver technical training and share valuable feedback to support continuous product improvement. Although the position is remote, frequent visits to a major customer site in Arlington, Texas, are required, making proximity to the area or willingness to relocate important.

  • Provide advanced on-site and remote troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair services for existing customer hardware deployments.
  • Travel regularly to customer facilities to diagnose technical issues, perform repairs, and restore systems to optimal operating conditions.
  • Conduct comprehensive system audits to verify performance and reliability, including preventive hardware maintenance, network assessments, and user interaction reviews.
  • Deliver technical training on repair and maintenance procedures to customers, business partners, and end users.
  • Manage, execute, and track hardware recalls and retrofit activities at customer locations.
  • Serve as a Tier 3 hardware support resource, providing advanced technical assistance for complex issues.
  • Review customer workflows, software configurations, and database systems to identify potential issues and improvement opportunities.
  • Collaborate with engineering, production, and operations teams to streamline service delivery and resolve recurring technical challenges.
  • Provide clear and actionable feedback to internal teams regarding product performance, repair costs, technical complexity, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Support the continuous enhancement of products, services, and customer experience by sharing field insights and technical recommendations.
