E-Commerce Sales Support

Description

Zanders Sporting Goods, a family-owned wholesale distribution company in business for more than 60 years, is seeking a highly motivated team player to join our sales team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting day-to-day digital sales operations and administrative workflows.

• →Set up new customer accounts and ensure all required information is entered accurately into the appropriate systems.
• →Maintain and update customer account information as needed.
• →Coordinate with internal departments to ensure account setup requirements are completed in a timely manner.
• →Send Welcome Letter and Credentials to new e-commerce customers.
• →Create API Credentials for Main account Webhost.
• →Process Return Merchandise Authorizations (RMAs) and coordinate the return process.
• →Manage customer returns and return-to-sender shipments, ensuring proper documentation and follow-up.
• →Respond to customer inquiries regarding returns, shipping issues, and account-related questions.
• →Communicate with customers and internal teams to resolve issues and provide proactive updates.
• →Maintain accurate records of return activity and customer service resolutions.
• →Investigate and process claims for shipments that are lost in transit or arrive damaged.
• →Gather supporting documentation, track claim status, and follow up with carriers and other parties as necessary.
• →Communicate claim updates and resolutions to customers and internal departments.
• →Maintain accurate claim records and ensure timely processing and resolution.
• →Prepare and distribute reports for customers upon request and internal department members to support sales.
• →Review data for accuracy and ensure reports are completed and submitted within established deadlines.
• →Track account activity, returns, shipment claims, and other operational information as needed.
• →Assist with identifying trends, discrepancies, and opportunities to improve processes and gain company market share.
• →Research freight discrepancies and validate supporting documentation.
• →Coordinate with customers, carriers, and internal departments to investigate and resolve charge back issues.
• →Maintain accurate records of charge backs, adjustments, and resolutions.
• →Other duties as assigned.

The Illinois minimum wage is $15.00 per hour. Wage or salary for this position will be based on the candidate’s qualifications, skills, experience, and overall fit for the role.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; required.
• FOID Card; required for Illinois Residents.
• Previous sales experience; preferred.
• Proficient in email communication and basic office software.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure.
• Multi-task oriented.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
