Finance Controller

Join us as a Finance Controller! 

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Controller to oversee the financial operations of our growingorganisation. In this role, you will manage the company’s day-to-day financial operation, coordinate the accounting teamand support the leadership in the strategic decisions. Your work will contribute directly to the management. You will report to the CFO. 

Your future tasks:  

• Helping to formalize and structure the internal financial controlling processes of the company
  
• Overseeing and managing the company financial situation in day-to-day operations
  
• Collaborate with the external accounting team 
• Overseeing the company’s cashflow
  
• Supporting the CFO in yearly financial audits and business planning 
• Client billing and debtor management liaising with sales teams to confirm invoicing details and contracts
  
• Managing debtor/creditor processes across the company, ensuring clients pay on time and we pay suppliers on time
  
• Bank reconciliations and tracking bank payments across multiple currencies
  
• Preparing regular and ad-hoc financial reports and analyses for management
  
• the legal team by reviewing contracts from a financial perspective and helping structure and execute internal legal processes
  
   

What we expect from You:   

• Completed studies in Finance/Business with finance specialization, with at least 3 years of relevant work experience
  
• It’s a strong plus to have experience in IT industry and mid-sized companies
  
• Solid understanding of accounting principles (IP activation, accruals)
  
• High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
  
• Strong Excel skills
  
• Hands-on experience leveraging AI tools to help build and configure the company’s ERP system.
  
• Fluency in Hungarian and English
