Position Summary

At LifeStraw, we believe everyone deserves equitable access to safe drinking water. We design beautiful, simple, and functional products that provide the highest protection from unsafe water based on where and how they will be used. We also take our responsibility to people and planet seriously. For every product sold, a child in need receives access to safe water for an entire year. We have been partners in the fight for the eradication of Guinea worm for 25 years, and we actively respond to emergencies across the globe. We are Climate Neutral Certified, and from product to packaging, we measure and minimize our environmental impact. We strive to support underrepresented communities through our actions, our products, our marketing, and our communications. We live, work, and create with impact in mind. We fight for good and always err on the side of action.

LifeStraw is seeking an eCommerce Specialist to help run and grow our Amazon business across the US, Canada, and Europe. This hands-on role owns the day-to-day work that keeps the channel healthy, including Vendor Central execution, catalog, content, promotions, pricing corrections, and reporting, while supporting the Global Account Manager – Amazon with the insights and execution needed to grow. Success is measured not just by keeping the channel running smoothly, but by making it perform better: stronger listings, sharper promotions, healthier inventory, and faster issue resolution.

As LifeStraw expands its Amazon footprint globally, this person will play a key role in building out our EU marketplaces. The right candidate is detail-oriented and flexible, comfortable juggling many moving parts across multiple marketplaces, and energized by a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. This individual will partner closely with Sales, Finance, Marketing, and Operations, as well as our advertising agency and Amazon teams. The role offers meaningful ownership and room to grow.

The position will report directly to the Global Account Manager – Amazon.  We prefer a candidate based in the Baltimore, MD / Washington DC area who can work a hybrid schedule from our Baltimore office; strong candidates located elsewhere in the U.S. will also be considered.

Key Responsibilities

Marketplace Operations

  • Run day-to-day execution in Amazon Vendor Central across the US, Canada, and EU, managing the case log and resolving listing and buyability suppressions, Andon Cords, and IDQ issues
  • Serve as the day-to-day operational contact for Amazon CSMs, preparing data for recurring syncs, tracking action items through resolution, and escalating strategic topics to the Global Account Manager with clear context
  • Own sales administration for the channel, partnering with Finance on invoices, remittances, chargebacks, and deductions, and maintaining item setup and product data
  • Manage pricing corrections through resolution, partnering with Pricing and Finance to keep pricing aligned with LifeStraw’s pricing policy

Reporting, Inventory, and Forecasting

  • Pull weekly Vendor Central data and maintain sell-through reports and dashboards by marketplace (Shipped COGS, Shipped Units, ASP, YoY growth), turning the numbers into clear insights
  • Monitor inventory health, weeks of coverage, and PO acceptance rate, flagging out-of-stock risk, excess inventory, and forecast variances, and working with Operations to resolve fulfillment issues
  • Support revenue forecasting estimates in partnership with Finance and Operations

Promotions and Advertising

  • Set up, submit, and track Amazon promotions (Coupons, Deals, Prime Exclusive Discounts) for Prime Day, Prime Big Deal Days, and holidays, keeping the promotional calendar, pricing, and inventory ready ahead of each event
  • Build post-event recaps by marketplace and compile deal and ad spend data to support margin and return-on-investment analysis
  • Serve as the day-to-day contact for our advertising agencies, leading weekly performance reviews, monitoring spend and results (ROAS, ACoS, TACoS) against plan, and keeping campaigns aligned with promotions, inventory, and launches

Digital Shelf and Channel Expansion

  • Maintain and optimize product listings across all marketplaces, including copy, imagery, video, SEO keywords, A+ content, and the Amazon Brand Store
  • Prepare new item launches, ensuring content, assets, and ASIN setup (variation themes, GTINs, required attributes) are complete and on time
  • Help build out LifeStraw’s EU marketplaces, including catalog setup, listing localization, and marketplace-specific requirements
  • Support new channel opportunities as the business evolves, such as a potential Amazon 3P (Seller Central) program
  • Monitor reviews, ratings, pricing compliance, unauthorized sellers, and competitor activity, flagging issues and sharing insights that improve content, products, and performance

Key Competencies

  • Growth mindset: curious about what drives ecommerce performance and motivated to improve it, not just keep the channel running
  • Flexible and adaptable; thrives in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment and manages competing priorities across the organization
  • Exceptional attention to detail and quality control, even at high volume and speed
  • Self-starter who works independently, owns workflows from start to resolution, and acts as needed
  • Clear, confident communicator with internal teams, Amazon, and agency partners
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to turn data into clear, action-oriented recommendations

Profile

  • College degree (BA or BS) in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, Analytics, or a related field
  • 4–6 years of experience supporting an Amazon business; Vendor Central (1P) experience required
  • Hands-on experience executing Amazon promotions for tentpole events and reporting on results
  • Working knowledge of Amazon Ads (Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display) and core metrics (ROAS, ACoS, TACoS), with experience managing an advertising agency relationship
  • Experience with sell-through reporting, inventory monitoring, and forecasting support (e.g., weeks of coverage, PO acceptance rate, LE cycles)
  • Experience with sales administration (PO management, chargebacks, deductions) and Amazon pricing discrepancies and pricing compliance
  • Experience communicating directly with Amazon CSMs or vendor support teams
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (XLOOKUP, pivot tables, nested formulas) and comfort analyzing large datasets
  • Experience with ecommerce and channel tools such as Stackline, Helium 10, Pacvue, Wayvia, or NetSuite is a plus
  • Experience with Amazon Canada or EU marketplaces is a plus
  • Experience with Amazon Seller Central (3P), including FBA, is a plus
  • Experience working cross-functionally with sales, supply chain, finance, pricing, or marketing teams
  • Must be based in the United States and available during US business hours
  • Passion for mission-driven brands and social impact

If you possess the above qualifications and the drive to meet the challenges, please send your resume/CV to jobs@lifestraw.com, including a daytime telephone contact and the names and email contacts of three references. We will only respond to electronic applications and to shortlisted applicants.
