As a UI Designer specialising in Design Systems, the designer will help shape and maintain the visual foundation of our multi-brand digital ecosystem. Working closely with fellow Design System designers, product designers, and developers, you will build and maintain the shared components, design tokens, patterns, and guidelines that enable teams to create consistent, scalable, and high-quality digital experiences.
The designer will play a key role in evolving our Design System, driving adoption across products, supporting a multi-brand approach, and ensuring strong alignment between design and implementation. In addition, you will explore AI and automation opportunities that help improve workflows, increase productivity, and enable teams to deliver better experiences more efficiently.

• Build, maintain, and evolve the Design System component library, ensuring components are scalable, accessible, reusable, and aligned with product and engineering needs.
• Design and manage Design System foundations, including design tokens, colour, typography, spacing, elevation, motion, and layout systems.
• Support a scalable multi-brand Design System strategy through shared foundations, theming, and brand-specific variations.
• Collaborate closely with software engineers to ensure Design System components and tokens are accurately implemented and maintained.
• Plan and support Design System releases, versioning, rollout activities, and adoption across products and teams.
• Create and maintain clear documentation, component specifications, usage guidelines, and best practices.
• Monitor Design System adoption, gather feedback, and continuously improve components, patterns, and workflows.
• Support governance processes for Design System changes, enhancements, and product-specific requirements.
• Explore and leverage AI-powered tools and automation opportunities to improve Design System workflows, increase efficiency, and accelerate delivery.

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Digital Media, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Several years of experience in UI Design, Product Design, or Design Systems.
• Proven experience building and maintaining Design System components, patterns, and visual foundations.
• Strong expertise in Figma, including components, variants, variables, libraries, and design tokens.
• Experience working with scalable Design Systems across multiple products.
• Strong understanding of accessibility standards, responsive design principles, and user-centred design practices.
• Experience collaborating closely with software engineers and preparing implementation-ready specifications.
• Strong documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Interest in AI-powered design tools and workflow automation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with multi-brand or white-label Design Systems.
• Experience with Design System governance, adoption strategies, and release management.
• Understanding of HTML, CSS, and modern front-end frameworks.
• Experience creating or using design automation tools, plugins, or AI-assisted workflows.
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale products and cross-functional product teams.
