Responsibilities

→Helps with the ordering and restocking of sundries, snacks and drinks
→Models, excellent communication and customer service skills with patients and fellow employees
→Responsible for the accurate operation of the cash register and inventory system
→Prepares cash reports, and cash reconciliation
→Receives new shipments; unpacks boxes and prices merchandise
→Assists in maintaining order of merchandise displays and basic cleaning
→Maintains reasonably regular punctual attendance, consistent with Baptist Health policies, the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state and local standards
→Maintains compliance with all Baptist Health policies and procedures
→Participates in monthly departmental meetings and all related in-services and PI activities.
→Observes all departmental rules and regulations.
→Interacts appropriately with a culturally diverse population.
→Follows chain of command when communicating departmental and individual concerns or problems.
→Knowledgeable of Patient Satisfaction goals. Works consistently to exceed the system’s objectives by reporting concerns and suggesting creative ideas.
