Fabrication Operator

The Fabrication Operator uses tube fabrication equipment such as saws, swagers, bending machines, and drills to process material in a way that meets customer specifications. Precise attention to detail and strict adherence to safety and quality standards are an absolute must in this position.

• →Operate various types of fabrication equipment in a job shop atmosphere
• →Record accurate information for all production orders
• →Keep work area clean throughout the day
• →Report any quality-related problems to the Supervisor for resolution
• →Provide cross training to others and be cross trained elsewhere as needed
• →Attend all scheduled company & safety meetings
• →Follow and enforce company safety policies and safe work practices at all times
• →Demonstrates teamwork and cooperation with other employees and supervisors
• →Report any equipment problems to the Supervisor for immediate repair or schedule for repair

• Ability to work in a warehouse facility within OSHA guidelines; conditions may be heated/unheated and periodically noisy
• Fast-paced, moderately stressful, constantly changing day to day work environment
• Ability to stand, walk, or be mobile for up to eight hours per shift
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds as needed
• Required to wear proper PPE at all times in warehouse
• Willing to work overtime as needed

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to read, interpret, and use tape measure and other tube fabrication equipment
