Production Supervisor (Night Shift)

Reporting directly to the Production/Operations Manager, the successful candidate will oversee multiple production teams within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. 

You will be responsible for leading, motivating, and developing teams while ensuring production targets, quality standards, and health & safety requirements are consistently achieved.

This role would suit a proactive, hands-on individual with strong leadership and communication skills, who is passionate about team development, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.

• →Drive production output and efficiency while maintaining high standards of quality and health & safety.
• →Lead, motivate, and support production teams to achieve operational targets.
• →Monitor performance and conduct, providing coaching, feedback, and performance reviews where required.
• →Work closely with Production Management, Scheduling, Logistics, Engineering, and Stores teams to ensure production deadlines are achieved.
• →Support Team Leads with technical guidance and problem-solving.
• →Conduct return-to-work interviews, disciplinary meetings, and employee reviews in line with company procedures.
• →Identify training and development needs alongside the in-house Technical Trainer.
• →Promote continuous improvement initiatives and maintain high housekeeping standards across production areas.
• →Support cost reduction initiatives and minimise overtime where possible.
• →Assist with the setup and optimisation of high-volume production lines for existing and new products.

• A minimum of 4 years’ experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing or production environment.
• Proven experience leading teams to achieve production and performance targets.
• Experience setting up and managing high-volume production lines.
• Strong communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
• A proactive approach with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel).

• IET Wiring Regulations 18th Edition qualification.
