Allied Universal is seeking Professional LPO Security Guards- Full-Time in Burnaby, BC

Allied Universal is seeking an experienced Security Guards - Full-Time in Burnaby, BC. The ideal candidate is a seasoned individual with AST and handscuff training license, to work in store during open hours, and able to work with a dynamic security team. If you have experience in Retail and Loss Prevention and can maintain a high level of professionalism, we'd like to hear from you.

• →Conduct interior and exterior foot patrols of the shopping center and surrounding property.
• →Perform mobile patrols of parking facilities and exterior areas as required.
• →Answer incoming calls and dispatch calls for service to security team members.
• →Maintain radio communications and coordinate responses to incidents and emergencies.
• →De-escalate conflicts and manage challenging situations using effective communication techniques.
• →Provide exceptional customer service to shoppers, tenants, retailers, and visitors.
• →Assist with emergency response procedures, evacuations, and incident management.
• →Complete detailed incident reports, occurrence reports, and daily activity logs.
• →Liaise with emergency services, mall management, and external stakeholders when necessary.
• →Enforce property rules, policies, and procedures while maintaining a professional presence.
• →Support the overall safety and security of the shopping center environment.

• Valid BC AST License ( Use of Force and Handscuff License)
• Valid First Aid and CPR certification.
• Previous security experience in a retail, commercial, or customer service environment is considered an asset.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions during emergency situations.
• Excellent conflict resolution and de-escalation skills.
• Basic computer proficiency and report-writing abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Experience working in a high-end retail, luxury shopping centre, or commercial property environment.
• Previous experience leading or mentoring a security team.
• Experience coordinating emergency response and shift operations.
