Data Center Technician - HVAC

Job Title: Data Center Technician / Engineer - Level 2
Location: Fayetteville GA 30214
Duration: 11/18/2026--11/17/2027 with possible conversion to FTE
Pay rate: $28/hr. on W2

Job Responsibilities:

• Daily round logs or checklists documenting equipment condition, readings, and observations.
• Preventive maintenance records documenting completed tasks, deficiencies, readings, and recommendations.
• Alarm response documentation for monitored events reviewed during 8x5 coverage.
• Deficiency or corrective-action reports for items requiring repair, replacement, further investigation, or approval.
• Weekly summary of completed work
• Coverage shall be provided on an 8x5 basis, Monday through Friday, during normal business hours unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
• Monitoring shall be included during the covered 8x5 window and shall include review of alarms, trends, equipment status, and abnormal operating conditions where monitoring systems are available.
• After-hours, weekend, holiday, emergency response, and on-call support are excluded unless separately authorized or added by written agreement.

Required Skills:

• Knowledge of data centers
• Ability to identify issues
• Good customer service skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Years of Experience: 2-4 years
• Education: HS diploma or GED
• Basic computer skills
• Work order management skills

Nice to have skills:

• Data Center maintenance experience
• Commercial HVAC
• Commercial electrical
• BMS experience
