As a Security Officer Patrol in Livonia, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, help to deter incidents, and support access control activities. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while using computer or tablet systems as needed. • →Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• →Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout manufacturing and industrial work areas, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and report observations.
• →Monitor access to designated areas, verify visitor and contractor authorization as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate visitor and incident documentation.
• →Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as needed.
• →Observe and report potential hazards, equipment concerns, and policy violations in accordance with site-specific reporting requirements.

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
